ABOUT THIS LISTING: The TPM AC 40 lists the 40 most played songs at Adult Contemporary radio, without distinguishing between currents and recurrents. This is due to the nature of the AC format. By utilizing this methodology we are able to more accurately reflect the true strength of currents which receive minimal airplay. When removing recurrents, currents often appear to have greater strength than is actually the case. The TPM AC 40 is considered in compiling our main All American Playlist, but with only minimal impact. It is not considered for our TPM Hit Music Top 40. This playlist replaces the TPM Adult Contemporary Component Chart.
The TPM AC 40 is published here for informational purposes only.
